A useful fit for

A folding battery swing for a household that prefers no power cord and can supply four D cells; its listed body is 21.5 by 31.1 in before movement clearance.

The main tradeoff

The manual requires four D alkaline batteries that are not included, and no adapter operation is established. Stop rules and full-recline guidance still govern despite the 0–9 month listing.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

What power does the Bella Teddy swing actually use?

The exact 11023-ES manual requires four D/LR20 1.5 V alkaline cells for the swing module; they are not included. No plug-in arrangement is documented. Do not substitute another model’s adapter instructions.

Is the 0–9 month range enough to determine newborn fit?

No. The manual sets a 6 lb minimum and 20 lb maximum, requires a snug restraint and says to stop when the child can sit unaided or tries to climb out. Use only under supervision on the floor, never for sleep, and follow the manual's position instructions.

How much space and laundry care should I plan?

The page lists 21.5 in width by 31.1 in length as assembled-body dimensions; leave room for seat movement and access. Remove the seat pad/headrest for the manual’s cold gentle machine wash and low-heat dry; wipe the toy bar, toys and frame.

What this Bella Teddy assessment covers

This is a document-based review of the Ingenuity Boutique Collection Deluxe Swing ’n Go Portable Swing in Bella Teddy, U.S. model 11023, SKU 11023-000. The reviewed evidence is the exact manufacturer product page and the matching 32-page 11023-ES manual. I have not bought or used the swing, measured its motion, or tested it with a child. “Boutique Collection” and the bear-and-cloud styling identify the finish; they do not establish a performance advantage over a different swing.

Four D cells, not a plug-in alternative

The manual says the control module needs four D/LR20 1.5 V alkaline batteries, which are not included. The exact listing likewise identifies four D alkaline cells and does not list an AC adapter. Plan for the size and cost of those cells, and check that the battery compartment is clean and undamaged on a used unit. The manual cautions against mixing old and new cells or different types, asks for the whole set to be replaced together, and says to remove exhausted batteries and take them out before extended storage. A weak battery can cause irregular motor, sound or light operation, so an apparent mechanical problem may be a battery issue, but that is not a reason to ignore damage or a faulty part.

The listing names five swing speeds, eight melodies and three nature sounds, and the control panel puts swing and sound choices on the unit. The manual describes selectable 30-, 45- and 60-minute swing timer settings; it also says sound playback shuts off after about 20 minutes. These are separate timer functions. The reviewed sources do not establish an app, voice assistant, remote or wall-power option. If your plan depends on an outlet or remote access, this battery-only arrangement is not a match just because other Ingenuity products offer those options.

Size limits and posture stops

The product page says 0–9 months and gives a 6 lb minimum and 20 lb maximum. The manual also prohibits use once the infant can sit up unaided or attempts to climb out, whichever comes first. The approximate age is not permission to continue past an earlier developmental stop. The five-point restraint must be used and adjusted snugly; the swing is intended for supervised, awake use on the floor, not on an elevated or soft surface and never as a sleep place. If a baby falls asleep, the instructions say to move them to an appropriate firm, flat sleep surface.

The page describes a plush removable head support, a seat pad and two soft toys. The manual’s specific young-infant recline warning should be followed rather than choosing a more upright setting because the seat has multiple positions. Check the exact manual during assembly and use; a product photo or the decorative name does not say which position is appropriate for an individual infant.

Portability means a folding frame, not a carrying seat

Kids2 lists the assembled body at 25.6 in high, 21.5 in wide and 31.1 in long. The frame folds for storage, but the published assembled dimensions do not give the folded package size or the clearance needed as the seat swings. Measure the body position, leave space around the moving seat and allow room to reach the child and use the restraint. The manual explicitly says not to move or lift the swing with a baby inside; “portable” should not be read as permission to transport an occupied swing.

The body is narrower than several full-frame models in this library, but width alone is not a room-fit verdict. Check the swing’s front-to-back space, the safe battery-panel access, and the path for unfolding it. The exact manufacturer page lists 5-point restraint and two plush characters; verify parts on the actual package or secondhand unit because a photo is not an inventory.

Textile care is component-specific

The manual allows the removed seat pad and headrest to be washed in cold water on a gentle cycle, without bleach, and tumble dried on low heat. It instructs caregivers to wipe the toy bar, toys and metal frame with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry the washable pieces as directed. Do not treat the cleanable seat as evidence that the whole assembly can be immersed or machine-washed. Follow the manual’s directions for fastening the restraints and hook-and-loop areas before laundering.

Before purchasing, confirm the exact package and manual

Match the tag to model/SKU 11023-000 and the manual cover to 11023-ES. Confirm that all four correct D cells can be safely installed, and inspect the frame, restraint, fabric, toy-bar connection and folding joints for damage or missing pieces. Check the actual listing for package contents; the promotional photograph is not proof that every pictured accessory is included. A limited exact-term search in the returned CPSC recall index did not surface a notice for this model, but this is not a complete recall record or a check of an individual unit. No current price, stock, seller condition or buyer experience is claimed.
