Wesley is the Every Season swing, not the separate rocker

This document-based assessment is for the Ingenuity Every Season Swing ’n Go Portable Swing, model 17104 and SKU 17104-000, using its exact U.S. page and matching 17104-MEEU manual. I have not assembled or operated the swing, tested airflow or noise, or used it with a child. Materials and performance statements are attributed to the manufacturer, not presented as independent findings. Another Wesley-branded Ingenuity seat is sold as a rocker; this review does not transfer that product's manual, controls or capacity to the 17104 swing.

The defining design choice is the combination of a 3D mesh seat with a removable bolster that the manufacturer describes as 100% natural lambswool. The page lists five swing speeds, a USB lead, eight melodies, three nature sounds, a detachable toy bar and a frame that folds flat. The mesh and soft wool may appeal to households comparing airflow-oriented fabric with a warmer removable layer, but the product text does not prove that it will feel a certain way in a particular home. The wool also creates a care tradeoff: it must be dry-cleaned rather than placed in the washer.

USB does not mean battery operation

The exact manual says to use the supplied USB cord with a 5 V / 1 A USB-A toy transformer. The sources do not conclusively establish whether that transformer is supplied in every package, so plan for the adapter and confirm the actual offer contents before use. Check the lead for damage. The swing is not documented for battery-powered motion. The on-unit controls operate power, speed, timer, music and volume. Neither a phone app nor a voice assistant is documented for this exact model. A USB plug alone does not establish that every wall block or power bank is suitable.

The manual gives five swing speeds and 30-, 45- and 60-minute motion timers. It identifies music shutoff at about 30 minutes. The exact sources do not state the movement axis, so it is appropriate to count the unit as a powered swing but not to promise multi-axis motion. The motor and timer should never be treated as substitutes for adult attention or safe-sleep guidance.

Child limits and floor placement

The product page lists use from birth to approximately nine months and a 20 lb maximum. The 17104-MEEU manual adds a 6 lb minimum and requires stopping when the child sits up unaided, attempts to climb out or exceeds 20 lb, whichever happens first. For a young infant, use full recline until at least four months of age and until the baby can hold their head up without assistance. Use the restraint, keep the product on the floor, supervise continuously and use only while the child is awake. If a baby falls asleep, move them to an appropriate firm, flat sleep surface.

The same manual describes a separate tummy-time mode for children 0–12 months. That floor activity is not swing use, does not override the swing's size limits and should not be mistaken for permission to leave the child unattended. An age range on the product page is a starting point only; manual posture and developmental stops may end use sooner.

Compact footprint, with an extra textile-care task

The manufacturer lists assembled dimensions of 25.59 in high × 23.23 in wide × 31.1 in long. The width and front-to-back value are more useful for an initial fit check than the word “compact” alone. They are still static body dimensions, not a safe operating envelope: leave clearance for the swing, toy bar, access, cord and a level floor. The fold-flat claim may make storage easier, but no folded dimension is listed, so verify that storage space or transport vehicle in person.

The manual gives different instructions for the two soft layers. The seat pad and headrest may be machine-washed cold on a gentle cycle without bleach and tumble-dried on low. The natural lambswool bolster is dry-clean-only. Wipe toys and frame separately. A used or open-box offer should be checked for the correct original bolster, because a visually similar replacement may not share its material or care label.

Check the exact configuration

Verify the frame label says 17104-000 and that the instructions are 17104-MEEU. Check the adapter, USB cable, mesh pieces, lambswool bolster, toy bar, restraint and folding locks against the actual package; a studio image is not a completeness guarantee. Measure the use area, then add motion and caregiver clearance. A limited exact-name/model CPSC search did not establish an exact 17104 recall result; that search is not a comprehensive recall history or clearance of an individual used unit. No price, stock, long-term durability or household performance is claimed here.
