Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does Cassidy's C-cell battery let the swing run without a wall adapter?
No. The manual assigns one C/LR14 cell to the separate vibration unit; a USB cord and suitable transformer power the swing motor and music. The battery is not a battery-swing configuration.

The exact 11624-MEES instructions list 15, 20 or 30 minutes and a 15-minute default. The current Ingenuity page says 30/45/60; Kids2's separate 11624-000 record agrees with the manual, so check the instructions supplied with the exact unit.

The body is listed as 29.53 inches wide by 34.25 inches long, before motion clearance. The manual permits a cold, gentle machine wash for the removed pad and headrest after buckles and hook-and-loop patches are secured; the frame and toys have separate wipe-care instructions.
Explore this need in the finder →This assessment covers the U.S. Ingenuity SimpleComfort Multi-Direction Compact Vibrating Swing, Cassidy, exact SKU 11624-000. I checked the matching 11624-MEES manual and the two official product records rather than transferring a neighboring SimpleComfort model’s instructions. This is desk research; I have not used or tested the swing.
A powered swing with vibration as a separate feature
The exact page describes a seat that rotates 180 degrees and swings in three directions, with six speeds, two recline positions, a five-point harness and an on-unit control panel. The automatic swing and music use the supplied USB cord, while one C/LR14 alkaline cell powers a separate vibration unit. That battery distinction is easy to miss: Cassidy is not a battery-powered swing. The exact product record says the wall adapter and battery are not included, and the manual requires a suitable 5 V/1 A USB-A toy transformer. Check that the adapter is compatible and that the cord is undamaged; the manual prohibits extension cords.
The manufacturer listing also describes eight melodies, nature sounds and white noise, but the manual says music/nature playback shuts off after about 20 minutes. The swing timer is a more consequential listing discrepancy. The exact 11624-MEES manual lists 15-, 20- and 30-minute settings and a 15-minute default. The current Ingenuity product page says 30/45/60 minutes, while the separate Kids2 listing for this same SKU agrees with the manual. For choosing a routine, use the exact instructions delivered with the 11624-000 unit and confirm whether the control panel matches the manual rather than counting on the longer page claim.
Room fit is modest only in comparison
Kids2 gives assembled dimensions of 36.22 inches high by 29.53 inches wide by 34.25 inches long. The width is narrower than the 31.53 inches listed for the Parker wooden-bar configuration, but the 34.25-inch front-to-back body still needs additional space for swing movement, adult access and cord routing. The manufacturer does not supply a movement-envelope measurement. A tape measure around the parked frame is only the start of a room-fit check.
Cassidy’s page describes an oversized seat with a removable headrest and an overhead mobile. The current product images show the exact textile presentation; they do not confirm every loose part in a secondhand package. This model should be compared by the model label and manual, not only by the shared SimpleComfort name or a similar looking frame. The fact that Everston has a similar published footprint does not establish that the two package revisions are interchangeable.
Age, size and safe position
The exact listing gives a 0–9-month age range and a 20-pound upper limit. The 11624-MEES manual specifies a 6-pound minimum. It also says to stop if the infant can sit unaided, attempts to climb out, or reaches the maximum weight, whichever comes first. Until the child is at least four months old and can hold up their head without help, the manual requires the swing seat to remain fully reclined. Follow the snug-restraint instructions, use only on the floor, remain nearby and supervise. The product is not a sleep surface or for unsupervised use.
A battery-powered vibration unit does not change these swing-mode limits or turn the seat into a manual bouncer. Nor should its 20-pound limit be confused with a later-seat limit from a different product. If the package is used, missing a label, part or exact manual is a reason to verify with the manufacturer rather than infer the safety instructions from a sibling product.
Care and who should compare it
The manual says to remove the seat pad and headrest, secure their buckles and hook-and-loop patches, then machine wash cold on a gentle cycle without bleach and tumble dry on low. Wipe the frame, toy bar and toys separately. That is a practical ownership point, but does not mean every textile or accessory can be washed together.
Cassidy is worth comparing when the buyer specifically wants a multi-direction powered swing, local controls and a separate vibration feature, and can supply a correct adapter. For a wood bar and a wider stated body, compare Parker 16926-000; for the visually distinct but similarly dimensioned 11149-000 edition, see Everston. Those are separately identified exact configurations, not evidence that features, manuals or parts transfer across SKUs. Before buying, match the 11624-000 label, 11624-MEES instructions, adapter, C-cell unit, restraint and included pieces to the exact offer. No user testing, price, inventory or customer preference is represented here.
