Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Is the Raylan rocker a powered swing mode?
No. SKU 11791-000 converts between a six-speed, three-direction USB-powered swing and a separately used manual rocker. Only the swing uses the USB-powered motor; rocker motion is caregiver-driven. The manual gives the rocker its own stop rule: stop when the child begins trying to sit up or reaches 20 lb.

The exact page lists age 0–9 months and includes a newborn head support, but the exact manual still requires full recline until at least four months and independent head control. Stop swing use at unaided sitting, attempted climbing or 20 lb, whichever is first. No manual minimum weight was located, so verify the child and exact configuration against the full instructions.

The supplied USB lead must be used with a 5 V/1 A USB-A toy transformer; a separate C cell powers vibration only, not the swing motor. The manual permits cold gentle machine washing of the seat pad and headrest with low-heat tumble drying; wipe the toys and frame separately.

This document-based assessment covers the Ingenuity SimpleComfort Compact Soothing Swing & Rocker, U.S. model 11791 and SKU 11791-000, using its exact Kids2 listing and 11791-MEES instruction manual. I have not assembled or used the product, observed its motion, or tried it with a child; listed comfort, quietness and soothing features remain manufacturer claims. This Raylan is not the distinct ConvertMe Swing-2-Seat Raylan sold under model 12189. Similar names do not bridge the models or their instructions.
The important distinction is two operating arrangements in one package. In swing mode the motor provides six speeds and the listing describes three swing directions with a 180-degree seat swivel. In rocker mode the removable seat becomes a caregiver-rocked manual rocker. These functions do not operate as one combined plan: choose powered multi-direction movement when the swing is assembled, or manual rocking when it is detached. The manual also has a separate vibration unit. A C cell powers that vibration accessory only; it does not provide battery operation for the swing motor.
Power is more specific than “USB powered”
The supplied USB lead powers the swing motion and music, but it is not itself a wall power source. The exact manual restricts the lead to a 5 V / 1 A USB-A toy transformer, says to use only the provided cord, and warns against damaged electrical parts. The page says the AC adapter is not included in its product copy, while package details can change; check the specific unit and include a compliant adapter in the setup plan. The C cell in the vibration unit is a separate consumable. Neither the manual nor the product page establishes phone-app or voice-assistant movement control.
The official product page's timer wording is inconsistent across its text. The 11791-MEES manual specifies 15-, 20- or 30-minute swing timing, with 15 minutes as the default, and about 20 minutes for music. For setup, use the manual supplied with the exact unit rather than transferring timer information from another SimpleComfort or Raylan model.
Newborn language does not replace the manual
The Kids2 page lists use from birth to about nine months and includes a newborn head support. It lists a maximum of 20 lb; the manual confirms the 20 lb limit and says to stop earlier if the child can sit upright without help or tries to climb out. It gives no minimum swing weight in the retrieved English section, so this assessment does not invent one. For a young infant, the seat must remain fully reclined until the child is at least four months old and can hold their head up without help. Use the restraint, keep the product on the floor, remain nearby and watch the child, and do not use the swing or rocker as a sleep surface. If sleep occurs, move the child to an appropriate firm, flat sleep space.
The manual separately sets the rocker stop: stop using it when the child begins trying to sit up or reaches 20 lb, whichever comes first. That is not permission to continue in rocker mode after the swing's own developmental stop, nor a reason to leave a child unattended. Check the label and the full instructions on the exact configuration before each use.
Room planning and textiles
The manufacturer lists the assembled body at 36.22 in high, 29.53 in wide and 34.25 in deep/long. Those figures can help screen a doorway or floor area, but they are static body measurements: three-direction movement, the toy bar, caregiver access and a safe cord path need additional space. The foldable frame, wheels and handle may aid storage or repositioning, but the page does not establish a folded size or how the assembled unit will fit a particular vehicle. Do not lift or reposition it with a child inside.
The manual permits cold, gentle machine washing of the seat pad and headrest, without bleach, followed by low-heat tumble drying. Wipe the toy bar and toys with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry; wipe the frame separately. Keep electrical parts out of water and refit textiles and fasteners as directed. This is a useful care distinction from products with a dry-clean-only specialty pad.
Exact-model checks before relying on a listing
Confirm the label says model 11791 / SKU 11791-000 and the instruction cover matches 11791-MEES. Inspect the restraint, seat, head support, frame locks, USB lead, vibration-unit cover and all included pieces; the product photo is not a complete inventory. Confirm which transformer is supplied, if any. A limited exact-name/model search of the CPSC recall index did not establish an exact 11791 recall finding; the search is not a complete recall history or clearance of an individual unit. Do not confuse this product with model 12189 or with the separate Kids II rocking-sleeper model 11792.
