BML93 battery modes, limits and pad care
This model note is for someone checking the exact U.S. Fisher-Price BML93 Discover n' Grow Swing n' Seat. Mattel reports a 2013 release and links W9493-coded instructions from its BML93 support page. The files themselves are printed W9493/W9493pr-0821 and W9493pr-0825; the source does not explain the code difference or establish a current offer.
Battery swing with a light push to begin
The linked full instructions require four C/LR14 alkaline cells for swing and sounds, not included. An adult turns the main switch on, chooses among five swing speeds and gives the seat a light push. A separate D/LR20 cell powers vibration in the stationary infant-seat arrangement; it is not swing power. The BML93 page and files do not document a wall-adapter plan or powered direction selector. See the BML93 review for the code bridge and model-specific limits.
Separate battery jobs can coexist with powered swing
For the BML93, the documented powered-swing plan uses four C cells, five on-unit speeds and a caregiver push to begin; the separate D-cell vibration setup is not needed to satisfy powered movement.
Find the full set meeting this earlier-model powered battery-swing and on-unit-control request.
Read the BML93 review for its exact battery split and the W9493-coded manual bridge.
BML93's battery swing also meets a 25 lb minimum-capacity request when earlier models are included. Find the full 25 lb powered battery and on-unit-control set, including earlier models.
BML93 does not meet a wall-outlet requirement because its reviewed page-linked sources do not document an AC arrangement. Compare every reviewed earlier-model powered swing with documented outlet power and on-unit controls.
For an outlet-powered alternative, the Graco SmartSense review describes a different sourced plan; compare its exact manual and limits.
A 25 lb maximum is not a readiness rule
The W9493-coded manual directly linked from Mattel's BML93 page sets a 25 lb (11.3 kg) product maximum and says to stop swing use earlier if a lighter child becomes active and appears able to climb out. Mattel's exact BML93 page sets a different infant-seat stop at sitting up unassisted. The sources state no numerical minimum weight or explicit from-birth support. Keep the restraint on, use the product only on a floor with adult supervision, and do not use it for sleep.
The W9493-coded manual sets a 25 lb maximum for the BML93 plan; at a 25 lb minimum request, this earlier swing can match.
Review the BML93 operating-plan evidence or compare all earlier models whose documented mode maximum reaches 25 lb.
The exact linked manual limits BML93 to 25 lb; a 26 lb minimum excludes it.
With powered swing, battery, on-unit controls and earlier models selected, only the Graco DuetConnect LX and DuetSoothe swing plans meet this 26 lb threshold; see their DuetConnect LX review and DuetSoothe review.
For a different documented swing ceiling, Graco DuetConnect LX's review explains its 30 lb swing and separate bouncer limits.
Find every earlier model with a documented mode maximum of at least 26 lb. The finder does not decide whether a particular infant is ready or fits.
For a product-specific 25 lb scenario that also requires powered swing movement, the finder keeps all those conditions: review earlier powered swings whose documented ceiling reaches 25 lb.
Machine washing means removing the pad
The linked manual permits washing the removed pad separately in cold water on a gentle cycle without bleach, then tumble drying separately on low and removing promptly. Wipe the frame and toybar with a mild solution and damp cloth; do not machine wash the full assembly. Refit the restraint and pad as instructed before use.
For the BML93 pad-care scenario with battery power and earlier-model inclusion selected, find the full matching set. This does not prove a used unit still has its original pad or restraint.
An earlier support record is not a current offer
Mattel reports BML93 was released in 2013; its product page does not establish a current retail offer.
The BML93 review explains the product-specific record and limits.
Include every individually reviewed earlier model and configuration; check exact labels, manuals, packages and present condition. BML93 is one example in this full earlier-model set, not a substitute for the other reviewed records.
Do not use the picture or family name as a fit check
Mattel calls BML93 compact and mentions carrying handles, but its reviewed records give no measured width, depth, height, folded size or movement clearance. The official image is an appearance reference, not a scale drawing or proof of a seller's parts. Check the actual BML93 label, frame, pad, restraint, latches, base, toy bar and battery doors; a direct page link to W9493-coded instructions does not establish that every part is interchangeable with another model.
